I was born and raised in the South Bay, around all things beach — but now I live full-time in NYC! My dad taught me how to surf when I was 8, and my mom gave me my first sketchbook when I was 10. From there on out, I was hooked on surfing and fashion. I competed in various surf contests up and down the coast of California through middle school, high school, and college. I have been dreaming of starting my own brand forever, thus hali honea. was created. hali honea. is a combination of my love for my hometown and my various artistic passions, now influenced by living life in a BIG city.
