Workout Playlist x hh

As I mention in one of my recent posts, since being back from Italy, I’ve been really working on paying attention to my health and motivating myself to workout more! I also mention that running is one of my recurring forms of cardio, which at first might seem intimidating or like too much work. Please know that I have ALWAYS despised running long distances. However! I have learned to enjoy running in nature--NOT on a treadmill lol that’s painfully boring to me--with the right playlist. Bear with me as I break down my weird, yet effective selection of songs to keep me motivated when workouts get tough. (Also to preface this list: know that I am a fan of country and yes, you can find motivation in country music. Don’t believe me? Try it!) Ok let’s go...

  1. 10,000 Hours Dan + Shay, Justin Bieber - I like to start with a semi-pump-up song because it allows me to ease into my distance run, rather than start with a super crazy, electric song. And of course, Justin Bieber plus country music...how can you say no?

  2. No Place RUFUS DU SOL - No explanation needed, the vibes are just right.

  3. How Not To Dan + Shay - Another banger from Dan + Shay lol jk but still a good medium-pace song to jog to.

  4. CITY OF ANGELS 24kGoldn - USC alum and creator of some amazing, fun songs like this one!

  5. Are You Listening Chelsea Cutler - Friend of my sister’s who has now gotten insanely successful, so naturally I just love all of her music. I have a ton of them in my workout playlist bc her range is just !!

  6. You Were Right RUFUS DU SOL - Again, Rufus is just perfect.

  7. Nothing Like You Dan + Shay - Tbh knew I loved Dan + Shay, but didn’t realize how much they occupied my workout playlist lol.

  8. Watermelon Sugar Harry Styles - Such an energetic, fun song. It helps me give my workouts an extra push when I’m starting to get tired.

  9. I Like The Sound Of That Rascal Flatts - From Life Is A Highway to now, Rascal Flatts has produced some classic songs, and this one in particular helps me reset my pace.

  10. Sad Tonight Chelsea Cutler - Once again, I just love her music.

  11. Cruel Summer Taylor Swift - First of all, TSwift’s newest album is just so fire. This song also provides a good pace to follow.

  12. Beer Never Broke My Heart Luke Combs - This song is by far one of my favorites to finish a run to because it seriously gives me that extra push towards the finish. Plus thinking about beer or wine or what I might do after my workout takes my mind off of the run!
